Hello all,

Just a question for anybody that has used both, is there any difference in quality/materials used between the Festool branded Starlock Max blades vs the Fein supercut Starlock Max blades?

Specifically for me the 78x42 and 78x32 plunge cutting blades. Both brands offer identical dimensions and both are bi-metal. Can’t think of why there would be any difference but just incase anybody has any input on a preference and why.

Thanks!

I have the Fein's corded and cordless but use Bosch blades, especially the new carbide tipped ones.

Festool has licensed the Vecturo from Fein, so I'd think it would be a very safe guess that Fein also makes the blades for Festool, with the exact same quality.

Fein blades are the rip-off of the century. €15 for their cheapest blades, I buy blades from another brand for €1 a piece and they last just as long.
