ventining naina!!!

i live in north America and am tired of NOT available IN NORTH AMERICA!!!!! i understand not being able to import tools that have different power requirements but there is so much stuff that does not have a motor that could be sold. for example the mounting plates for tools that are here in the USA,and the table to go with them. i know i am venting but i have needs! ;D ;D i had a little chat with a guy in Australia and he sad i should start a little public discussion on this. so lets hear it ,who wants the naina to be aina! i would also like to hear a no mumble reason why the goodies with no motors are niaina.

TG, this has been discussed before but let me say again that we (Festool USA) are just as interested in getting all of these products in the US as you are.  The primary problem with many of these items is UL approval.  It's not just a matter of different power requirements. 

Are you talking about the and CMS Modules?  If so, those require UL approval before they can be offered in the US.

i understand, having had to design things to meet UL approval, it is not hard , you can simply purchase the spec that you need to meet and go from there. they even have a web page set to walk you through the processes it just gets frustrating see POS brands like ryobi and dewalt get their stuff approved.
