Veritas Wonder Pups have a 3/4" diameter, but work fine in 20mm holes with a few wraps of industrial tape. These things can push/clamp with far greater force than the Festool version, but aren't as fast to operate what with a thread to turn. Definitely a useful addition for an MFT though. At about £18.60 each they are a lot cheaper than the Festool clamping elements too, though an additional bench dog or stop of some sort will be required. I also added a hardwood buffer block to the end, which is easy to do as there's two holes through the chunk of brass for this purpose. Travel is at least 100mm so perfect for a 96mm grid pattern.
The Festool clamping elements are very easily damaged with just reasonable and not any Mr Heavy handed use, but I doubt these clamps would ever go wrong as it's the typical Veritas quality and beautifully made.
