Very Simple DIY Rail / Track Storage cheap

I know I have seen some posts in the past, did not want to shell out over a $100 for some pre made clamps and like to build ;)

I used some 1/2 inch (12mm) Baltic birch scraps. Some 1/4 20 inserts and bolts with knobs, well under $15 total.

If someone wanted actual dimensions i could upload a quick sketch, just let me know

Great alternative! :) Did you double-side tape the mount on garage door? Or does the bt goes through it?
 
The third picture down shows one of the screws used.

The idea is great, but I don't have tracks. If I built such a system to store tracks, I'd replace the upper knobs with notched parts (same as the bottom ones but with deeper clearance). That way, the tracks are treated like sliding doors, and I can remove the tracks by sliding them up.
 
The local Festool dealer here also keeps the tracks vertically:
