I have an opportunity to get a very good condition VS 600-GE Dovetail Jig for $150.  The video's make it seem very easy to create dovetails with this and I'd love for the furniture I'm going to build to have nice dovetail joints.

Does anyone have any thoughts on if this would be worth it?  Or if you have any experience with this.  Let me know...thanks!

If you don't mind DTs of a fixed width, then IMO it's a great deal.  I used to own the VS600.  It works well and is easy to use.

There was an "upgrade" in the later years of the VS600, an attachment that improved dust collection.  If the model for sale does not have it, check if Festool might still stock the part.  If not, ask yourself whether it would matter to you that dust would be all over the place.  Maybe that's not important, to each his own.

What attachment? You mean Festool #484453?

Wasn't the 'update' to the VS600 the addition of the 3rd knobs as standard?

I bought a VS 600 complete with one set of DT templates, also on the used market. I haven't had time to use it though. Plus it's too cold in the shed

Good price on the VS600, but keep in mind the templates might be hard to find. Might want to check with the Festool parts department to see what they have or what they can get.

What? VS 600 NAINA?

Well, postal service can handle a 30 lbs. inkjet printer from US > EU, so the reverse for some solid pieces of alu should work fine too.
