In a way...kinda....yes!  Not made by Festool, but often found for sale in the same retailrs that sell Festool.  You can even f8ind You Tube promo videos with the guy using the Walko with Festool equipment all around, and in use.

I don't think they are for everyone, but for some, I'm sure once they get one, they just love it.  They're like a Workmate on steroids, whereas an MFT is like a foundation for the rest that is the Festool family.
 
It a portable work table with holes in direct competition with Festool and would be in the same category for reviews as the MFT's, right? Just a slightly different style. Really this is the only competition I see for the MFT's from another company. Looks like a fantastic price at the link you provided, less than 1/2 price!.
 
I picked up a Walko 4 in the spring and for me it was well worth the price.  At this price I would consider it a steal.
 
I don't view the Walko as a competing product with the MFT.  They really are not the same.  I look at the Walko rather as an alternate choice that facilitates slightly differing needs. 
 
Do you know if they would ship a Walko 4 to the UK and if so would the shipping costs and duty make it worthwhile? It costs around  ?550 to order from their site in the Netherlands.

I had seriously considered one for helping to break down sheets in the shop.  But I have since decided to go another route for those needs, which essentially involved more Festool rails, and building a complementary base for my MFT, which I'm still in the process of building.

I wasn't concerned about the rain issue you discovered, as I would likely not have been needing to have my Walko stay outside in the rain.
 
I just received a message from Woodcraft informing me that the Walko 4 is no longer available as they have sold out.
 
I called, and was also told the Walko-4 was no longer available.  If anyone in the Southern ontario area ordered one and had a change of heart, let me know - I'll buy yours !

I ordered a Walko-3 instead, but I'd rather have the -4.
