I have a very small area of my garage to work in. I have the MFT1080, TS55, vac, 1400 router, and the Jig saw from Festool. Could the Walko bench be used to recreate some functions of a TS for ripping etc? For me, being able to roll something out from the wall is what I need. During the warmer months I can roll out my Shopsmith and use it for some small stuff but during the winter I need something I can roll out and clamp a base to and start cutting. Unfortunately where I live we have 4-5 months of cool weather to contend with. During the winter I'm sharing the garage with 3 vehicles but in the summer -fall I have room to bring out my 6" jointer and small planer. Seems like the Walko could be very useful for someone like me. I'm pretty green at all this but enjoy learning.
