I put together my second sofa table, this one though I made with Dominoes instead of through tenons.

The top is part of a larger slab that I bought and made a cocktail table out of along with another sofa table.  The cocktail and first sofa table was made using the TS55 to rip down the slab and glue it together.

The second sofa table seen here is made with part of that same slab and an apron.  The apron is put together with size 4 Dominoes, 2 in each joint(4 per corner).

It really makes it easy to attach the table top too.

Now it's time for stain.  I'll likely put some General Finishes High Performance Gloss coats on.

I'm starting a page for some of my projects.  look for me on FB AQ Designs.

I work at a Tech company in the bay area and one of our absolutely crazy benefits we get is access to this woodshop. We have to buy our own material but almost all the tools you need to build anything is provided. It's where I got bit by the Festool Bug.  It's a great benefit and I thank my lucky stars to have access to it to give me a creative outlet.

Just curious, does the company have a use for the wood shop in their business, or is it an employee benefit?

Just that tech to me means "computer" and I don't see the connection to woodworking

That is an awesome perk.  I wish my company had a shop like that.

Hi Otis,

We are are not in a space where we use the Woodshop for products. We use it as a creative outlet. Our culture prides itself as a culture of builders but that isn't always transferable when writing code so the company provides the Woodshop so folks can get the creative juices going.

What an awesome perk! That would be very cool to have access to that at work.

The table looks great too.
