Warranty with this Dealer

This website does not belong to a Festool authorized dealer. The price alone should be a red flag. No secure connection during checkout. No address or contact details. I'm guessing this website will steal your credit card information for fraudulent purposes. Buyer beware.

That looks like a 2G2BT sort of a deal.  I doubt you would be too happy if you tried to collect on any warrantee repairs thru Festool.  I see Shane is looking at this thread as well.  He might just give a little more detail as a warning.

The entire site looks dodgy

Bad wording, spelling errors and gramma
Missing contact information

The entire site when reading a few things just shouts fraudulent.

It gives of a vibe that is has been set up by some one who isn't American.  I'm guessing more eastern

Same type of spelling I got with some email that says I have inherited 5 mil quid from someone I never met. I sent them my info cant wait to get the money.... [thumbs up]

Funny you mentioned it.

Few years ago I was selling my car.

I was selling it for £8k.

I mistakenly decided to put it on auto trader.

Total waste of money.  You just get junk.

Well I got a few emails I decided to go ahead with one.

Just to see how far they will go

Well to keep to story short.

He contacted me back saying he will give me £12k

He said the extra £2k was to ship the car and other £2k for my troubles.

He said he would send me a cheque of £12k

I said no problem.

I received the cheque few days later.

He emailed me to see if I have it and said soon as the money has cleared I should go to western Union and transfer £2k to a mate of his who will pick up the car and ship it.

That's when I though yip I knew it was a scam.

Any way the cheque cleared I had £12k in my bank I could draw out.

But there was NO way I was going to transfer 2K of money via western union.

Well I waited few days.

I received a call of him telling me to hurry up.

His voice accent was from Africa...

Which just confirmed it even more.

I called my bank asking him do I own the 12k in my bank.

I was informed a cheque can take months to officially clear legally.

Which shocked me.

Soo even though it cleared into my bank it hasn't cleared?

He said no if its found out to be fraudulent it will be taken from you.

He said normally it will happen in a couple days or weeks.

Well sure enough 3-4days after the cheque had cleared my bank took the 12k out of my bank.

If I had sent the £2k I would have owed the bank £2k and be out of pocket.

Should have known you would say something.

To be fair I did think when I wrote that I can't really talk with my JMBspeak
