Welcome to my cave

I like your style RW, it's unique and entertaining, right up there with Per and Tinker.
Also like your taste in radio programs.

Clamps.

I've been boxing out a laminated ply beam running across my living room ceiling. I put 3/4 oak on the bottom of the beam, shimmed level and secured with pocket screws through the sides of the beam. Then I scribe and fit the side pieces to the ceiling and glue them to the lower piece of oak (there are spacer blocks at the top of the beam to keep the sides plumb).

The other day as I finished installing the clamps and my wife was looking on and there are so many clamps you can barely see the oak, I remarked that I might finally have enough clamps. She said, "and that's why we don't have...x,y,z"

I show you photos of my shop if you show me photos of your shop.  HAHA

Its a fair cop. Once I have this unit delivered and installed I'll take some photos. Not much to look at though.

Patrick, thanks for switching over to your name.

RW, I too like your style and radio station.  ;) Your cave sounds remarkably like mine used to be but has expanded into the finished part of the basement as well as the garage.  :D Your pile of systainers rivals mine and maybe YOU should be the one that everyone is saying has so much. :o ::) 8) Fred

I just did it so people knew my name but it appears others have as well. Was there a thread asking people to do so?
