Well I can't post my TS55 dial indicator pics but...

The inboard flange is reading precisely .001" out.

When either of my 2 Z=48 blades are mounted to this flange, both blades read exactly .009" out in the same spot.

Hoping just a bad inboard flange and not the bearing face it sits against.

Either way .009" is >007" past industry saw standards.

Sounds wrong, and the pics didn't look like what I get on my saw.

Have you contacted Festool support to see what they say?

This may be WAY too obvious, but...  With both blades behaving the same way, have you checked the flange?  Be certain there is not something on the flange, causing the blades to sit at a very slight angle.

Hi David, John, and gang,

I did check the flanges. The inside flange is .001 out, actually much more now because I fiddled with it thinking I could correct the .001 but it has become worse.

I have an email in to Festool for some parts. I do hope though that the bearing face that the flanges sits against is ok.

Since it is a TS55 it must be less than 3 years old and still under warranty.  Festool will make it right.

Oh I know they will. Things happen, they use vendors, anything could have occurred during machining that caused the flange...or bearing to be out.

Believe me Festool is a BIG part of my shop and lively hood. "Couldn't do it the way I do it without them."
