What a renovation....

"I had no plan, just woke up one Saturday morning and started ripping ---- down"

Absolutely incredible.

Curios, in what city is this?

a couple places they talked about vancouver olypimics, and the riots after the Bruins beat the Canucks in the stanley cup 2 years ago. So that would be my guess.

I'm impressed with the vision as much as I am the quality of work.  A great mix of materials and styles.

Nice work. In case anyone was wondering about those flush, round receptacles, they are by Bocci.  We do alot of them. They are expensive and kind of a pain but they look slick.

Very well said.  While browsing through it kept striking me, "I want that but how the hell will I ever be able to think of it or articulate my tastes to a designer who could think it into existence for me."

Yes, definitely Vancouver, Yaletown neighbourhood. I recognize the building across the street, it's only a block from my place.

This guy definitely has no fear when it comes to renovation!

Love the concrete counter with the walnut inlay.  On a more woodworking related note, what's going to happen to the concrete when that wide walnut board decides to expand?

Does anyone know how that baseboard detail is done? It can been seen well in the bedroom photos. I really like the simple recess to define the transition, never seen that before.
