I purchased a carvex and accessory kit a while back.  The item in image was in one of the systainers.
Woodcraft doesn't know what it is.  The small key/tab has CMS on it.

Anyone know what it is?

It is a lockout tab used if you used the CMS in combination with the Carvex.  Here is NA it is usually a keychain charm.

Thanks.  Had no idea the carvex could be mounted to the CMS router table.  Don't have one so it will not do me any good.

This is what it looks like when mounted.

While I do have Carvexs. corded and 18v, I do not have the table insert.  However, I do have the Bosch clamp on table that used to be available for the old 1582 Bosch that I still have.  Don't use it often but still comes in handy a couple times a year.  Planning to set it up to shape thin ABS to plug the hole in my TSC.  I had made one for my TS which I will be selling, but that aperture is square and the TSC has rounded corners and is slightly different in size...more creative engineering required.

Same here, usually stays in the bottom of a Sys but I’m very glad I have it when it’s needed.

For a long time I’ve had a similar Metabo table that nothing fits (not even a current Metabo jigsaw) so drilled some holes and mounted a cordless Makita router and fence. Now I have a tiny portable router table that fits in a Sys too.

Nice CMS setup, [member=10147]jobsworth[/member] I have the router plate and thought to make custom plates for different tools since the plates were NAINA. Might get a friend to bring them to me in Mexico soonish

sounds good Paul, I have 3 the TS75, the Router and the Jig saw. They do have one with a belt sander but it is not inexpensive even for festool.
what you dont see in the photo is I have 2 CMSs. The GE and the VL. They both attach to each other. So the GE has my TS75 with side extension, the VL thats attched to the GE I use my router and jig saw and what other bench top tools I make plates for (out of 3/4 ply).

If you do get the saw try to get the side extension its the same one used on the CS50 same with the fence.
