What small Festool items should I have a friend bring over from UK?

In a few weeks, friends of ours from London are coming for a vacation. They've offered to bring over items we might want. My wife asked for "real English tea" but I'm interested in Festool items. I'm not looking for big tools NAINA but small items or promotional ones NAINA. Any suggestions?

check out THIS post.. im sure you have already seen it but if not there it is

a lot of cool NAINA items in there

Pigtails for sure, even if you dont have any plans to convert tools, throw them in the classifieds and you will make a lot of friends around here !!

do they come in two gauges?  a black one and a green one..  which is more versatile?

unless you want "festool" levels, i believe they are manufactured by Stabila which can be bought here in the states easily.

Don't want to sound ignorant....but....I'm ignorant! [blink]
What is the pigtail?

Festool levels (the short and medium length ones are great.

What sizes are the short and medium?  I know my store here has the 48" and what looks like around 18" Levels.

Exactly what Festoolfootstoool said.  Let's you do things like THIS

Seth has one on a corded drill that he uses only with his kreg jig so every time he drills a hole the CT kicks on! Pretty sweet setup

Thanks!

I have an appointment on Wednesday with my local dealer here in Germany. I am doing a relatively expensive purchase, not one of which is an actual power tool
Cleaning them out of their stock of a number of Logo items that I'll be bringing to the US in September when I will sit in my house in Florida for a few weeks to monitor the tropics.

Some of the items I'll put in the Classified section of FOG when I get back, and others on eBay. My dealer is seeing if he can get more of some of the items for me to purchase.

My Wednesday Purchase, some parts of which are arriving at the store on Tuesday from Festool:

-Complete Vacu-Clamp system with MFT undermounts, accessory pads, and secondary clamping unit. (For my workshop in Florida powered by a Step-up Transformer)
-Centrotec 98-Piece Assembly Kit (The full set, not the crippled 2013 set)
-The 10-piece Festool router bit set (The round Systainer!)
-Four more T-Loc Mini Systainers (all for my shop)
-Festool Clocks (X2 that he has in stock) added to the one I have. Dealer is trying to get 10 more for me.
-Toolies (X4 in stock) also trying to get me 10 more
-Festool Stabila Level 48" and the short one. Learned today that the straight edge is guaranteed to .0078 in/meter. Close enough for Jointer and TS adjustments
-Festool Centrotec Ratchet set (497881). For my shop
-Blade Storage Bags (X8). Already have one, adding 3 more for me. Rest are destined for the U.S.
-Whatever Golf Hats they have in the store if Velcro fitting. Otherwise, pass.

I'll ask about the pigtails. Didn't know what I might have been looking for.
Also discuss what other Logo items they have access to. (Maybe Bath and Beach towels currently in the catalog here)

The dealer is giving me a 10% discount on the entire purchase, and I don't have to include VAT (German Consumption Tax) due to my military affiliation through my wife.

Pictures on Thursday!

The pigtails I have sent to the US in the past  for fog members have been the Uk 110v variety so I doubt you will get them in Germany

Working the issue on those now. My dealer seems to be able to get 110V items. I'm picking up a PSC420 tomorrow with a 110V Charger. I was surprised he could get it. I have sent an email to him to check availability of the pigtail now that I have a part number. I'll post back here and on another thread as soon as I get an answer.

Cheers

I think you're all looking at this the wrong way. Tell your friend to bring over the BIGGEST Festool he can carry.
