Scott Burt said:I travelled internationally a few weeks ago, which is immensely enjoyable.
One of the hardest parts of that, for me, is figuring out how to "unplug". I want gadgets during the travel time and delays, but I don't want to be annoyed by them when I reach my destination. Convenience over necessity.
This has always been a challenge, finding that balance. This time, I didn't carry a laptop (how liberating), just de-nutted my iphone and stowed an Android notepad in my carry on. It worked out pretty well, and I am working on a "Travel Trilogy" to pass along observations.

How do you deal with tech while travelling and vacationing?
So I read the first 2 parts of the trilogy and eagerly clicked on the link for part 3, hoping for an uplifting "jumpers for goalposts" experience with no tech and a moral, and it is yet to be written. I've subscribed to this thread and will wait for part 3 with baited breath.
