It appears to me being my rookie season with Festool, it seems like things seem to come along all year vs once. Was curious what’s in the pipeline for the US

Look at the international Festool site. The North American market is the last ones on the bus 🚎. If at all. Hence NAINA.

Change URL's on last years new releases to current year and you might find new stuff before it's released  [big grin]

Ok, I succeeded once with that, and it wasn't new stuff but new promotions.

Im just hoping that Planex 2 makes it to the US and isnt crazy expensive.  Otherwise, I will have to go with the Mirka but the new planex is definitely on my radar.  The STM 1800 looks cool too but I have no need for it.  If I did mobile work though It would be hard to pass up and I thought the price was actually reasonable for Festool product.  When I first saw it and before I saw the price I was expecting it to be a few hundred more.

The STM 1800 was advertised as a one time tool offering here in North America and availability is now limited to what some forward thinking dealers have in stock.  In other words, some dealers ordered extra over the pre-orders they had and might be able to supply additional product to interested purchasers.

Obviously it could come back again if Festool USA decides to do so.

Sorry in advance..... why don’t they make available in the USA or why can’t we order even from across the pond ?

Is it supply/demand , controlled supply/demand?

It’s actually controlled supply with an uncontrolled demand.  [smile]

Very similar to the toilet paper fiasco we all went through a few months back.
