Wheelchair Reading Table

Working on a table for wheelchair bound relative who wants a reading table. Trying several iterations of the drop down feature and next will try a pivot type. This one has a under surface latch which is proving inconvenient. Tried toy box curve latch and that did not work out. The table works well for height and width; just not finished with the drop down feature.
