A lot of new stuff comes from Festool, but where is it?There is no updates from official website, all stuff is same old stuff,I mean where is NEW jigsaw for example, and etc?

Welcome to the forum VZ.  It is fairly common that the US rollout of tools is delayed from other areas of the world, and that unfortunately we don't get to experience all the great products that other places get.

Peter

No disrespect, Peter, but I think I know what VZ is saying.

There are a lot of tools and accessories not listed on the Festool website.

For instance:
CT36 AC
Planex
Sortainers
Drills
Etc.

You can find these items if you search specific item numbers.  With that said, the website needs an update at the least, but a redesign would be more useful.

VZ, the Carvex is not yet available in the US/Canada. It will be available some time the first half of 2013 probably. The reason for the redirect is because it's not on our website currently since it's not a current product. It is on the jigsaw micro website because we had planned to launch the Carvex before but the launch was delayed.

Daniel, if I wasn't always helping you guys on the FOG, I'd have time to do more work on the website.  [tongue] Yeah, I know there's updates that need to happen and they're coming. If you want to preview some of the updates to the website, check out the Festool Paint (USA/Canada) website.

All of the new tools are here.

All of the systainers/sortainers are easier to browse.

I've been trying to refrain from spending a lot of time maintaining what will soon be an obsolete version of our website. Sorry for the growing pains in the interim.

Shane,

That is a slick looking website.  I will browse more tomorrow when I have some free time.

I look forward to the, may I call it, New and Improved Festool USA website.

Best,
Daniel

I hope Shane dose not get berried under all these Festool websites. Looks like a lot of work maintaining all these micro sites (Training, Drills, Jigsaw, sanders, Blogs Etc... and the other main sites (painting, Festool USA, Etc...).

Oh and I forgot the Festool Owners Group Website!

A lot of work for one guy?

Shane,

I see the new site has taken over.  I'm going to have a look around and try to not drool on the keyboard... much.

Daniel

Great new website, looks like it will be much easier to maintain [big grin]

There's still plenty left that I want to do to the site, but it should be easier to navigate than the previous site. Also, code has been optimized to help with page load times, etc. Next on tap... online tool registrations. That's after I take some time off and relax.  [big grin]

With the exception of a few odd products and few abrasives, everything is on the site.

Shane,

As a guy who has to go to the site often,  [thanks].  I know that you have been working on this for a very long time, and in comparison to sites in other parts of the world the USA site is far easier to use.

Go grab a Dr. Pepper and relax for the next 6 hours.

I was thinking a little more time off than that.  [tongue]

The problem is finding the time to work on the site with all of the other stuff I do. I need a Shane copying machine, like in the movie Multiplicity.  [scared]

Isn't that a hidden feature of the Duplex ?  [big grin]

No worries vz... I've got a underground black market hook up, through mexican cartel smugglers who have realized the profit in unobtainable festools in t [big grin]he u.s.  Anything you want shoot me a email...but I need money upfront   [big grin]

The Domino Tenon assortment systainer is listed under the main "Accessories & Consumables" area but not on the Accessories tab on the Domino 500 product page.

Buying online only lists Canadian companys?  [eek]  Must be a work in progress , I hope.
