Hello, I just bought a 1400 router on ebay without systainer.  I have found where to find the bottom insert, but wondered if it is possible to find the foam piece for the lid and the label/picture that goes on the inside of the lid.  I have not purchased systainer or bottom insert yet, if anyone has one laying around I would be interested.  Thanks  [thanks]

You can call Festool USA customer service and they will connect you with the parts department.

I just ordered new a new T-lock insert for a drill - cost me around $16.00 as I recall.  You just need to indicate the tool and if it's a new or older style systainer.  Some may be different.

Hi,

scr00ge, welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

When you call be sure to indicate that you only need the foam piece that stabilizes the router from the top. Festool Service # in my sig line and on the router label.

In Europe Festool does not sell the foam inserts which are glued under the lid.
I have asked for it a dozen times with different suppliers.

The large ones like for the OF 1400 have a number on it. For the OF 1400 in Classic systainer it's 466337.
The OF 1400 T-Loc version is different one, which I'am searching for.

They also don't sell the cardboard sheets with the accessories and layout of the tools that are also under the lid.
And that's a shame because you cannot complete an empty systainer which you bought after that you bought a separate machine.
It's only a piece of cardboard! They also have numbers printed on them.

Festool please do sell the foam and cardboard inserts to your clients!!!!!!!!!!!
They also belong to THE SYSTEM as you call it.

I got it, I was calling festool for some other spare parts and the tray insert. I asked about the lid and the guy said let me look in the back. He found one and sent it off to me. Thanks Festool!
