Which tracksaw? And Blade?

I have a need to have a track saw for work (I currently have a TS55 for home use).  I am cutting aluminum honeycomb core product and the length is around 110" (longest).  Right now, we are using a straight edge and a razor blade.  That's just not cutting it (no pun intended) any longer.  The thickness is irrelevant as it's well within the limits of a TS55.  However, I'm wondering if this is a good case to use a TSC55 or a TS55?  The material in and of itself is rather flimsy, but it is on a shop made cart that has a sacrificial top that we could cut into, so it's fairly stable.  If you think this is a good case, what would be a good blade to try with?  I'm thinking of bringing my TS55 here to try out the process, but I only have wood cutting blades...

Thanks,
Kevin

If it's fairly thin as you describe, the standard carbide blade would probably be fine.

If it was a more substantial aluminum core (enough to be rigid), I would probably turn the speed down an use a dedicated non ferrous blade like the one below.  Note, it's a 2.5mm kerf not 2.2 in case you want to test this blade using your saw and track.  The blade will fit fine, but it will trim back the splinterguard a hair more.

The TS and TSC are more than capable of cutting aluminum. I regularly cut 5/16” plate with my TSC. The real issue is what will it do to the honeycomb? Try a short section with the wood blade and see how it comes out.
