I just wanted to share an experience I had today but first I need to explain what happened a month ago.
In june, I went to my favorite festool dealer and walked out of the store with a new Kapex, Domino, and OF 1400 all in one shot. I spent of $2500+ that day.
Today I went to the same dealer, I purchased the MFT/3 Table, The T12+3, The compact Cleaning set and clamping elements for the table. I also had other items that were non-Festool products. Before I paid, I asked my dealer if there was anything he could do for me since I came in a month ago and spent $2500+ and today I could possibliy spend $1500. (I don't have the attitude that a dealer owe's me anything because I spend lots of money with them but it's nice to get a break sometime). He was very kind and threw in a few items and gave me a big discount on the other non-Festool items. He was very nice to say that he wishes he could give people a break on festool products but he can't. So he gives breaks in other places.
I just wanted to share this with everyone so that next time you go into your dealer maybe you could work something out. They always seem to be willing to work something out. So in a way buy purchasing festool, you can get a break even though it might not be directly from festool.
