Hi Folks,

    I had seen some rumors of this and now it is actually available. New Hose nozzle
    This looks like a nice approach for attaching the dust extractor for sanding with intermittent cleanup sans the bluetooth remote. We have a hose at work whose end had an unhappy intersection with a CNC router....this should make for a nice replacement.... 8)
 
To reply to my own post,

    In the EU, the CT15 has been upgraded to using a new, non-sheathed anti-static hose called the RAS-CT, but upon cursory examination, I cannot find a listing for it separately under festool.de. In any case, the new hose, besides being anti-static also features the new adjustable suction nozzle. Any pointers on the part number for the entire hose?
 
I bought one as soon as I saw it appear on Axminster and it didn't disappoint. I have a CT-SYS which sees a lot of uses for jobs outside of the shop and sanding is an all-to-common a task. Not having to stick papers on partially covering the pad holes to reduce suction is great! The mechanism appears sturdy enough and has worked very well (and often) in the month I've had it.

  Sorry about that...fixed now, thanks for the pointer. FWIW, I will have our store order a couple and report back on the functionality.
