Why do Festool not offer an R0150 with a 3mm stroke?

It seems to me that this would be the perfect sander with enough fine sanding ability to finish sand and in rotary mode still enough grunt to remove material quickly! Wouldn't it make sense? Or is it that it would make too much sense and hurt sales of the ETS range?

I don't know why Festool doesn't make an RO150/3 but for my use I would still want the ETS150/3. I find it to be a better shape for finish sanding.

My guess is they can't make a certain type of sander in every range with every stroke imaginable. Festool already offers quite a sizeable selection of sanders. There's only one company I know of with a bigger range of sanders and that's Rupes.

What for?
The Rotec is an aggressive sand for quick and aggressive sanding-stripping, but the stroke action can be reduce by using the interface pad between the backing pad and the sandpaper when fine finishing.
