Will a Rotex RO 150 work with a Ridgid shop vac

I had decided on purchasing a Rotex RO 150 and a CT26 dust extractor...then I saw that the CT26 is getting a makeover.  I am wondering if the RO 150 will work with my existing Ridgid shop vac till the new CT26's are available in NA.

It will work with any vac, as long as you don't mind starting the vac manually. And you'll have to come up with something to make the hose fit on the dust port.

Also the suction could be to high. I had to loosen the drain cap and tape it on half way.

I would highly recommend running Ridgid bags in it to help keep the filter clean. The filter will plug often from the fine dust.

Lots of expensive options above, may not be the best for a temporary solution.

Just look at your local DIY shop, many round objects there you can use to make an adapter between vac and tool.

Before I got my first CT I used my home vac for a couple of years, found a hose for a fish pond and a door stop to make it fit for €5.
