Hello,

I'm trying to fix the wiring on my HL850 while in lockdown, someone messed it up.

I'd love to know which colours connect to each part- armature, brushes, and there's also a spare there with no mating connector...
Also unsure if the switch is wired correctly.

If anyone has cracked one open before, or is bored and happy to remove the brush cover and tell me where the coloured wires go, that would be fantastic.

Would love to get it into use.

I think I might have to disappoint you in regards to wiring colors.
Might be due to different Versions of the planer...

Images below are from when I got my HL850 (used off craigslist).

I opened it to clean it up and exchange all the ball bearings...

Thanks so much for posting those, it looks like I may have a broken piece to replace.
I will study your photos in great detail, I guess yours is 110v, whilst mine 240v, which may be the differences.

If anyone has a 240v one that would be even more useful!

Happy to oblige. Mine is a 240V!
Running in Germany, directly from the plug.

We do not have the weak juice over here. ;)
