Wood-Working Training/Assistance

Hello Everyone,
I am blind and a novice woodworker. My academic training was in mechanical engineering and I have had considerable experience working with metal production machines such as milling machines and lathes. I would like to hire someone to assist me in learning to use an OF1400 router and the LR32 system. I am located in Los Angeles. Meeting in person would be great, but as we have all learned recently, remote training also can work. I have an iPhone and facetime calls for training are fine with me. Wish I knew last weekend... I traveled to Santa Barbara through LA to pick up a cabinet. Was a quick round-trip, but would have been happy to stop by for a couple hours. In person would be better, I'm sure, but maybe remote works?

Go to Anderson Plywood in Culver city. They have a complete show room set up with the ability to demonstrate how all the tools work. Don Ware and Allan Kensley work there. They are about the knowledgeable people I know about festools.

Allan used to work with festool as a rep and on the road show. Don is amazing when it comes to these tools. He did it professionally for many many years and for some big name clients.

You cant go wrong with those 2.

I would go there and start with them.

They are very nice and have no problem spending time with people.

Also when this kung flu is over Greg Paolini in NC offers festool training classes.

Also FT TV on you tube has a lot of instructional videos on using the festools.
