If I'm reading this right, it is a WP router table for the MFT1080.   Size is 45-3/4" x 28-1/2"

They're on clearance for $99.  Until midnight this Thursday (9.9.2010) you can also use a SALE10" coupon code for 10% off.  Shipping might spoil the deal.  It's $19 to me in Madison, about $37 to southern California

Note that a router plate and fence are additional purchases.

They are definitely worth 99.00 for sure. Just make sure you buy the under supports(steel L's) or make your own because it will warp. Or attach it to a top instead of sitting in the MFT.

I had several of the Pinnacle tops(from Woodpecker), different sizes. I think I may still have one or two of the smaller ones laying around. The large ones are next to impossible to get flat if you let them warp.

Are these laminated MDF? I didn't catch how thick they are?

Thanks,

Tom

Well I did not have the one to drop into the MFT, but I assume it is the same, at least I hope so..

The ones I purchased  are 1.5 MDF with a nice laminate on both sides wrapped with a plastic T mold. Obviously the MFT unit does not have the T mold wrap.

The solid phenolic is nice, but they are chipped, still for the price the material would cost that much easy. I like the black(24 x 32 x 3/4 thick):

3/4" cotton impregnated phenolic is pretty stiff, durable stuff. I'd still rather have a more modern material but that thought might be based on unrealistic overkill.

If it's the same as the "standard" WP router table I have, it's about 1.5" thick.

i just got their new pholinc top yesterday that I bought at the IWF show a week or so ago.  I got the fence and the new lift.  it works great..  I am going to use it this weekend making some cabinet doors.

I have had both types of tops and either works great just watch for warping on the mdf ones.

but for 99 bucks that is a good deal and a nice size top.  woodpeckers is a fine company.  they are just clearing them out since 1080 is no longer made
