Can anybody recommend a good Woodpecker dealer that offers free shipping and no tax to WA?
I'd order some of the newer tools directly from Woodpeck, but $239 for a square plus $17 for shipping plus over $20 for tax...makes me not want to buy it.
I tried calling and emailing US Tool and Fastener to ask if they carry the newer items... can't get a response.
Toolnut charges tax.  My local Woodcraft(not really that local) doesn't have much of a selection.

Anyway, thanks in advance, fellow cheapskates. :D

I've heard good things about Carbide Processors.  They are in WA state so tax, but sounds like they might offer discounts.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to add things to my cart on their outdated, non-secure site... There's no 'add to cart'.  Weird.

Anderson Plywood doesn't have an online store, that I'm aware of.  I don't mind calling and ordering stuff from a good vendor, but prefer shopping online.

I know, so picky.  I think that's the problem that comes with so many choices in life. :D

You may have some difficulty with the no tax part. Washington state requires sellers that do $100,000 or more in sales to Washington residents to register with the state and collect and file state sales tax. That’s even if they don’t have a nexus in Washington.

Yeah, the no tax is harder and harder to find.  There should still be smaller(under $100k)/non nexus companies though.  I recently ordered 3 different tool orders from 3 different places that didn't charge tax or shipping.

Even if carbide processors charges tax, they used to offer coupons for $10-15 off a $150+ purchase, so that may offset the tax completely or partially.  I stopped getting their emails, so I don't know if they still run those promotions regularly.  Maybe someone that is currently on their mailing list can confirm?

I emailed Carbide Processors about tool availability... they are no longer carrying Woodpecker due to supply/backorder issues.
I also noticed that a lot of dealers that Woodpecker listed don't carry their product any longer.
Not a good sign...
