Woodpeckers DF500 accessory for Domino

Woodpeckers just made the DF500 Offset Base Set a regularly stocked item.  I passed on it as a OneTimeTool. For those people who got in on the OTT offer, I’m wondering if you’d buy it again.  I seem to recall someone saying it is not possible to use the DF500 offset base for face mortises. Is this true?

I also understand “certain” festool attachments will not work with the woodpeckers offset base mounted. What are the limitations of using this woodpecker tool with the DF500 or the Domino XL?

I’m interested about this as well. I’ve been contemplating whether to purchase this or not. I would like to here if it’s useful or not.

The Woodpeckers base mounts to the base of the Domino & block the fence from being used. None of the Festool attachments that mount to the base or the fence of the of the Domino can be used at the same time the Woodpeckers off set base is mounted.

I bought one, but have never used it. Just never found a need for it.
