I just received an email from Woodpeck about their sale to sell out the remaining stock of their original router lift; the RPL.

Since 2001, the original Woodpeckers Precision Router Lift (PRL) has been a rock solid router lift known for its accuracy, durability and out-and-out precision. Production of PRL parts stopped months ago and soon we will be assembling the last of this model.

I had one for years and recently replaced it with the new version. This model only works with bare motor routers and is designed to use the PC 7518 motor by default and other smaller routers with different brackets to hold them. There is no way to use a plunge router with this. If you want one - I highly recommend going with the 16 pitch lift instead of the fine 32 pitch version. It takes forever to raise the 32 pitch even when using a drill to run it. The $199 price is a STEAL for this lift - very heavy duty and reaks of quality.
