WoodWorkers Guild of America

I joined (for $8 IIRC) but don't find it worth much.  Most of the content seems pretty basic.  I haven't tried any of their plans.

No other connection, your mileage may vary, etc.

Phred

I joined last year when it was only $9.99 and watch some videos.  I agree with Phred that it is pretty basic.

Barely worth the $9.00/yr on special, and most "tips" could probably be found pretty much duplicated by others on YouTube. The plans are probably worth the expense...if you can use them.

Probably would not renew after my year is up.

Cheers,
Frank

If ya want to join a decent gild, have a look at the wood whisperer Aka Mark Spags..

He's a pretty good guy has some nest projects and gives a lot of info too.

Well, I have one good thing to say about WGA.  Those crappy plastic drill indexes they send out with promo mailings make pretty good featherboards.

I joined also for 9.99 and watched some of the videos.  I agree with everyone else...basic info, but I also pick up a tip or two from them.  Probably won't re-up when year is over, but not a waste of money.
