Work picking up out there?

It seems to really be picking up down here in Charleston. It's been busy for a few months, but lately it's getting nuts. So much so I feel like I'm drinking water from a firehouse... I'm not complaining, mind you, but I'm just hoping everyone else out there is seeing things pick up as well.

Bob, same here.  So many quotes going out the door lately.  Best part is I don't feel the pressure to get every one sold. 

Booked solid to summer as well.

We had a very good year last year, much like 2008 and the few prior years. Work trailed off near Christmas which is usual and takes a few weeks in Jan to get going again. But so far I am still slow, I think I have been out in the field working maybe 5 days since the first of the year. [unsure] We (my father and I) have put out 40+ bids in that time and have gotten a number of verbal yes answers but just about all of them want a "spring" start, which I really believe is a reflection of the weather here in the northeast! I do have a six week kitchen project booked to start April 15th and am really pressuring some of my clients to move before then.

All that being said I haven't had any down time yet this year. I've been busy rebranding our 40 year old business for the next 40 years!

I was lucky enough to never slow down much, right now I'm solid for at least 10 months!!  very grateful that my customers will wait for good work
