Working KOA with Shaper Origin

Hey guys, just wanted to share with you my latest project where I used Origin and my Festool quiver to build  in 22ft long KOA table, 32ft bench and a credenza.This little mighty tool will be available soon and I'm really exited about bringing it to my workflow. Enjoy the clip

Thanks guys. I was lucky to find very last 16'' wide KOA veneers here since they put a hold on KOA import last year so no pressure . Stoked how all 3 pieces turned out in the end.

Beautiful table!  Really nicely executed.

And the Shaper for the wiring panel...  Very cool!  So in cutting out the little 2x2 drop-down piece, did you adhere it underneath to keep it from jumping as you cut through?  or use the typical 'tabs' in CNC?  It really does show the potential of the tool, and highlights the craftsmanship of your work.

Excited to be on the September list for this new tool.  This really is a totally different way to think about CNC!

Curious after using what other uses you are thinking might be possible in your work?!

Thanks. I always use double sided tape and sacrificial MDF under pieces that is cut to avoid tear out in veneer and to hold it all in place. Generally you would go almost thru whole thickness of material you are working with and leave just a ,,skin,, than you change your offset setting to final dimension and go little deeper than thickness of material you are cutting. That seems to work very well with shaper and leaves you with really smooth cut.
