I need to join two pieces of 4" stock together.

Actually i don't a friend does and thought of me and my tools as he does not have a tool capable of such a cut.

I have a Kapex and a TS 75. I am not sure as to the cut capacity of the Kapex at sucj a angle as its fairly new and i have yet to use it in such a manner.

I also am not sure what the TS75 can do. My. Guess is it will come up a bit shy of the depth of cut needed. From what i understand the cut needs to be jointable..

My bad.

I am passing along bad info. It a piece of hollow 8" x 18" stock and he needs to be able to cut at least 4" in to get throught the 8" measurment as he can do it in two passes one from each side.

I guess a sawsall would not be a clean enough cut and a regular skill just wont do ot either.

Do you have a bandsaw?  That should be able to get a fairly clean cut, might just need minor cleanup.
