I have about 10,000 bd ft old chestnut oak from WV here. I made this narrow traditional harvest table the wood is a mess but my ETS EC 150 sands about just right if you have the knack to get that beautiful camel color out of it. Got to sand just enough and just the right way. Can’t go down to fresh inner wood or you lose that patina and end up with just another soulless piece. I made a little plaque for the front side of it.
