Apart from working for Festool i spend a crazy amount of time in my own workshop - sometimes with teenage daughters it is best to keep out of the way.
I also when the chance arises go to the timber fairs such as at Haughley Park last weekend and finally met with this Ancient Oak in Suffolk - see image. I have travelled to see others around Suffolk but as some are on private land access can be limited and the opportunity to have some time at Haughley was great. Even though the Oak has been hit by lightening a few times and is supported by some brick piers it still has a big impact.......
