1010 dial locked

[member=42286]XXXKenXXX[/member]  Yes.  Mine was like that out of the box, though I didn't notice until after the 30 day return window, as I initially used it without having to fiddle with the microadjust.  I ended up sending it in to Festool service through my brick and mortar dealer and got it back after a week and a half with the problem fixed.  This was a year and a half ago, and since that time, I can recall one other mention of the same issue on the FOG.

There may be a troubleshooting operation that you can execute yourself if you call Festool service -- since I was working through my dealer, I just went with their recommendation to send it back to service rather than try something myself.

Anyone else had a problem with the micro adjust dial being locked-up?

I haven't replaced my 1010 ebq since it got stolen; but when I still had it, I had a problem with the micro adjust moving by itself when I was routing deep mortices in jambs to insert cups for multi point locks. I ended up turning it all the way in one direction to lock it up on purpose.

I also replaced the depth stop bar 2 times after it got bent, when it had taken a tumble from the top of the CT to the floor after someone snagged his foot behind the hose when passing. With the OF 1400, the depth stop rod is protected by the tool housing, so it won't bend when it takes a small fall. (but I find the OF 1400 too heavy for vertical work in multiple passes)

Yes mine was a used Festool demonstrators model, was locked there too. I sprtayed crc around and eventually things loosened up to work it.
Also the measuring level rod lever never sits at 0 but at least 2mm below so I have to take this into account when setting the depth. Can't seem to fix this issue.
