Hey people,

Is it at all possible for a 240v socket to be fitted to a 110v vacuum so my 240v kit starts the extractor on auto?

Bit of a noob and feel like i should never have opted for 110v kit but i live in the U.K and some sites require 110v for safety. I intend to buy a kapex and 2nd CT26 so my son has a vac available but really  just wanna go 240v. My pragmatic mind says it cant be configured for both else they would advertise  but the second port on the 26 makes me hope against hope that there may be a way.

Learning loads from you guys/girls and i am grateful. Please advise a budding apprentice in the ways of the veteran FOG. Bless

Hi and welcome to the forum  [smile]
Unfortunately it is not possible as 110v and 240v are separate machines and the motor, electronics, input and output are different
