12mm cutters on EU of1400, with English ujk jig designed for 12.7mm cutters

Hi,
First post here, sorry it's a question.
I am in Germany drinking copious amounts of beer and in my spare time will fit a kitchen worktop.
I have a 1010, but can't use it so will buy a 1400 which comes with 12mm collet and 30mm copy ring.
The thing is the cutters here are 12mm shank and blade and in the UK where the jig is coming from the shaft and blade is 12.7mm.
Will the 0.7mm throw the jig out?
If so I will have to order the 12.7mm collet and cutters from UK I guess which at Xmas is no fun for delivery times.
Any help would be much appreciated as I have never used a jig before

Does your kitchen worktop jig come with or require the use of a guide ring? Most that I have seen require the use of a 30 mm guide ring. It is the guide ring diameter and the cutter diameter that are important. The collet size/cutter shank diameter will not make any difference.

Yep a 30mm guide ring and 12.7mm cutter is required. But as the 12mm shanked router bits don't come with blade diameters at 12.7mm and only 12mm, i was thinking maybe it still works as you are cutting both profiles with the same bit.
Unfortunately i have never used a worktop jig and so cant really figure it out.

Yes, the 12.7 mm cutter is essential and a 12 mm cutter would not work.

You could use a 12.7 mm bit with an 8 mm shank, if you can't find one with a 12 mm shank. (You already have the collet that came with your OF 1400)

I suspect that the Snijhoogte is just a dash too short for the kitchen work surface.

And what's wrong with buying it in a German store? You're right in the hotspot, dealers everywhere and the big ones will probably have one right there.

The majority of domestic kitchen worktops are 40mm thick. The length of the router cutter blades used for cutting worktop joints is usually a minimum of 50mm long........Are 8mm shanked bits available in 12.7mm dia with a minimum of 50mm cutting height..??
