Hello,
I am hoping some of you may know little bit about the Buss Machine Works jointer i just bought Friday night. I have searched high and low online and have found very very little information about this brand let alone this specific jointer. I am hoping to learn more about it in terms of its history and how it should have been from the factory. My intention is to restore it some day back to original and it appears that there has been modifications to it throughout its life by previous owners.
Anyways, it has a 2hp, 3ph GE motor on it with a July 4th, 1916 date on it and I am wondering if this is an underpowered motor for this large of a jointer.
Anything anyone might know about this beast of a jointer would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for no pictures, it will not let me post photos for some reason, I am still trying to figure this out as this is my first post.
Thank you,
Justin
