Hey all,
Need some help... I've had a lot of 18g brad nailers over the years and haven't been happy with the performance of any of them. After tossing my last 18g headache, I'm willing to spend the money to get a gun that will last as I use it daily.  I'm torn between the Grex & Cadex 2" brad nailers. Hope y'all can make this easer. Please let me know how your experience with these guns have been. Thanks.

Ha, yea just went through this myself. That thread RKA linked to is how my dealings went. Pretty happy with the setup I ended up with. Kinda glad I didnt go the Cadex/Grex route first based on all the bad I read about them around the net.

How are you liking your Omer?

One nice thing about the Grex is the optional edge which does come included on some package deals.  I have a 18 and 23 Ga, no problems yet.

Just to add to the confusion, I was in the same boat just recently. The Grex 18ga was at the top of mylist (especially with the depth gauge accessory) but after doing a bit of research I didn't go for the Grex or Cadex but ended up getting the Omer 2". At 100psi it'll sink a 2" brad into the hardest wood I have. The depth of drive is consistent and the nail holes it makes are fairly small compared to other brad nailers.

On the negative side, the Omer does not come with a case and the exhaust port design is far from ideal. Other that those two nits so far it's working out well.
