Hi Folks,

I was just perusing EKATS and found a listing for the 2 meter profiles under the 495314 MFT/3 listing. The part number listed is 496824 and the price is $252.12 apiece. Interesting, but a fairly pricey upgrade. Of course, one would need to make a top but it looks like it's out there.... [scared]

Or screw them (or pieces) onto things (or walls) you want to attach MW 1000 tables to.

Maybe use EBAY from Germany, that's how I received a 5 Meter folding ruler and I don't speak German.

Use Google translate and hope for the best.

I ordered these from a Festool parts distributor in the USA. It took about five months for the order to be shipped out to me, but the item was delivered in early May - to one of their customers in New York state by mistake.

I've been working with the distributor to have their NY customer return them, but that does not appear to have happened yet since it's been over three weeks since they were going to be sent over to me in Iowa.
Sorry to hear about your experience. FWIW, I will attempt to contact Festool USA at some point to ask them about those parts. Pretty busy right now as I'm only very part time at Woodcraft, but I do have some contacts. I reckon if one used either the MFT/3 guide rail mounts and protractor/fence or guide rail clips and dogs with aftermarket accessories, having a bigger table top would be a huge win. I'm thinking here of an ideal cutting station as well as a glue-up for edge joined panels.

Can anyone confirm that when you order part number 496824 that you recieve two profiles in one box? I’m 90% sure you do

People on the forum have bought the long rails from the UK but I don't remember who.

As rst mentioned, I’ve also purchased Euro only Festool stuff from the UK.

PM me for their name, address and email.

Box, did you buy the long MFT side rails or the two meter NAINA rails.

Could someone provide a photo of the profiles. I’m likely going to purchase my first mft and I’m curious. Thanks in advance

Thank you Garry!! New to FT, Ekat etc etc trying to learn as quickly as I can. I’m much better as visually seeing things than research.

[member=11629]GarryMartin[/member] -  Thanks, Garry!  I am planning a modification to my Minimax SC2 saw to replace the steel tables with a larger MFT-like table. Your diminsioned drawing of the Festool aluminum extrusion helps me find mating extrusion to serve as the interface between my saw and the new table.

[member=70363]MikeGE[/member] There are some good options for 3D printing too; check out Thingiverse. Various Festool bits on there, including options that make use of the profile for brackets etc.
