My latest solution - an adapter to connect a shop vac hose to 2" PVC. I am sure many here have done this a million times. I made a boom for my vac tonight to put my shop vac hose over my bench and table saw so the hose would not drag on the edge of the bench. Decided to use PVC and then decided to use the PVC boom as a "hose" as well. Needed a way to connect the vac hose to 2" PVC so came up with this adapter. Turned some PVC down on the lathe and glued it to another PVC piece. Many of you guys will just make your own but I thought I would throw them on Ebay and the forums in case others don't want to mess with making them.
Note: The Ridgid Pro hose adapter is ever so slightly looser than my CT vac adapter. Both work but if you want tighter fit a wrap of electrical tape will fix that.
Buy two if you want a boom set - #1 input connection from vac hose and #2 hose connection port for the tool.
$6 and $4 shipping should get it to you in the lower 48 USA - Add $1.50 for each additional adapter. Cleared funds/cashed/money order or Paypal accepted. If you are international please buy them on Ebay and their shipping service will get them to you after I send them to the int shipping warehouse. My local shipper (my employee services at the day job) does not ship international so I apologize for any fees Ebay will charge you for that.
