2013 Black Friday Specials thread

The Jet air filter in the first post is now live at $258.99 on Amazon purchased through Acme Tools. I think that price is live on the Acme site as well. Waiting till tomorrow to see if the ToolNut price is the same...

Amazon charges me sales tax where acme don't
they have a SawStop PCS TS free delivery & no sales tax  [tongue]

If you buy on ACME through Amazon you do not pay sales tax.. you do screw ACME because they have to pay Amazon... but you should not be charged sales tax.

You can follow the jet link, clink on the clamp you want, then select online. You can buy through amazon or acme tools.

Ordered 2 - 24" Jet clamps last night from Acme Tools. $61 total including shipping ($25 per clamp) and no sales tax. I checked Amazon (I have Prime) but Prime doesn't apply to these clamps.

You do not get 2 day prime shipping, but you get free shipping through amazon if you are a prime subscriber.

For those near Exit 9 of the NJT, US Mahogany is having 10% off of all hardwoods sale tomorrow and Saturday.

Just thought I would pass this along.
JeZ ,
I think this is the Only time in my life I wished I lived in The Garden State  [cool]

If you think this sale is good, wait until January when Mr. Roberts has their yearly hardwood sale. Up to 20% off. People drive 100's of miles for this sale. On the day of the sale, cars, trucks and vans, most with trailers, are lined up down the block waiting for the doors to open.

Their selection is great and usually deep.

Just snagged a Powermatic benchtop mortiser for $416 at CPO.  Terrific price, but in reality the only mfrs I'm really interested in are Festool & Lie Nielson...and neither one will likely allow any deals.  Bummer.

My local hardwood pr0n shop has 20-35% off all hardwoods.  Seriously, their stuff is significantly nicer than anything else around here.  Gonna go get a latte and head over for some shopping. Sale is on until Monday, but likely the good stuff will go quickly.  Need a good stick of ebony for inlays.

Anyone seen any Lee Valley deals besides free shipping?

Hi Shawn -

We will have Cyber Monday specials..... but only on the Monday (Dec 2nd)...Not the week before, the week after.... or advertised in advance.

Enjoy your thanksgiving, your family, your football games, or whatever one chooses to do on a holiday.... there are enough days to shop the rest of the year!

Cheers -

Rob
