2016 NA Catalog Impressions

Batteries and parts will be available for awhile.  Plus, my understanding is it is a NA thing, not world wide.  Discontinued or not, I am still probably going to get a C15.

It is not surprising. All tools move to higher and higher voltage, as battery technology progresses. Even 18V is already a yesterday's technology for many manufacturers.

True but when I walk into any big box store I see a growing array of 12v and 18v tools in red, yellow, blue, orange.  It seems the master of the systems approach (Festool) is letting others drive this market.

I would be impressed if the Download version available as I post was actually 2016 rather than 2015!  [eek] [big grin]

I always look to the US catalogue because of its excellent photography, and because Tooltechnic Australia does not release digital catalogues.
