Just a reminder to everyone that the Lie-Nielson Hand Tool event will be at the Chicago School of Woodworking tomorrow and Saturday.
It is Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-5pm.
I'll be there manning the SAPFM (Society of American Period Furniture Makers) booth on Friday night.

Hope to see you all there.  The Hand Tool Events are always a great time!!!!

Oh wow, thanks for the info.  I hadn't been able to go for a number of years due to conflicts always coming up at Show Dates, and now this year, I can..... SWEET.
So, not at Jeff Millers place this year?  [scratch chin]
Chicago School of Woodworking... 5680 Northwest Highway + Show on Sat. is from 10am to 5pm off L-N's website.
I didn't even know CSW had moved to their present location..... [embarassed]
I should get out more..... [wink]

Yes, that's the place.
It is Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-5pm.
I'll be there Friday night.

Glad I went. They were giving tours of the school and we talked with the Scroll Saw instructor for a bit as well. Didn't buy a thing from L-N or the other vendors , so my wallet stayed in one piece.... [smile]
Was introduced to Lazarus Handplanes, created by Mateo Panzica out of Louisville Kentucky.

I stopped by.  Good crowd today and I was glad to get a tour of the facility.  It's a lot bigger than I expected!

I too saved my money.  Did not find anything from Lie Nielsen that I had to have.  Had a great demo with Jeff Miller on cutting tenons for chairs and showed several of his jigs for doing so.  Such a talented and personable guy.
