2019 World Series

Hey Alan, how are you doing buddy? I've been a nervous wreck this entire Series !  [eek] No matter how this turns out, I am glad that the Nats didn't get blown out in four games, and that it went to seven for a good, exciting series.

I hope Max is able to pitch tomorrow.

Hey Peter,  I hope he will be. I could see him stalking around the bullpen like a caged animal LOL.  Let's hope he pitches a great game.  Also, I lament that this might be the last we see of Rendon and Stras in Nats uniforms.

Just got done watching the game...terrible call at first base. The New York head honcho ump needs to have his Festools removed from his possession...that'll learn him.  [smile]

@Cheese while I didn't like the call, I agreed with it. It was close, but if the runner got more to the right side of the line it would have been ok.

[member=6193]Rob Z[/member] - I feel like these games are aging me in dog years! Well game 7 tonight! It has been a great, crazy, up and down series. Good luck!

It’s the middle of the 6th and my team is leading 2-0 so why do I feel like I need a Cardiologist and a Psychiatrist on call right now! OMG this is stressful!

Well I’d suggest that if your heart isn’t healthy enough to withstand the constant changing dimensions of the ever changing architecture of our society, then bail and bail early.

Me... I’m good to go......... xxxx

Alan, I am now going in to floor pacing mode.  [eek] My extreme level of concentration now hopefully will help our boys in the pen close this one out !  [scared]

By “architecture of our society” clearly you mean baseball😊. I can take it, it’s just painful.

[member=6193]Rob Z[/member] - I think I have put on 5,000 steps since the 6th. My dogs, don’t know what to think.

[member=6193]Rob Z[/member] - Congratulations to you and all of the Nats fans here! They played great baseball and deserved to win. They beat us the same way that we beat the Dodgers in 17’, with great pitching, power hitting and relentless opportunistic and timely hitting. BTW, Anthony Rendon is from Houston, he went to Lamar HS, which is about ten minutes from Minute Maid Park and he was also a star at Rice which is also minutes from the ballpark. Good for him and the Nats!

Hey Alan.  Thanks  [smile], oh my, that was grueling to watch.  After that low point earlier in the season, I was just thrilled to make the WC game!

Some seasons, I manage to watch or listen (radio) to every game in the season.  So, after a couple thousand games this is pretty sweet.  [smile]

Speaking of Rendon, I am afraid the Nats won't be able to entice him to stay and this is the last we've seen of him in a Nats uniform.

Back to reality tomorrow !  [cool]

Amazing series - not just for the fans of both teams, but to anyone who loves baseball. Both teams deserved to be there and put on an amazing series.

Alan, Peter, you guys still around here?  [smile] It's almost that time again !  [drooling]

Oh yeah, I’m still here. Hard to get excited about the season this year after this cheating scandal. It’s going to be a rough, hard to watch year this year.
