Hi, im looking to get a bunch of festool tools to my upcoming shop. however, Im planning to move back to Europe in a couple of years.
Can i get/order 240v festool tools in the states or in canada?
is there a way to switch 110v tool to 240?

arent the tools adapted to use here, that would mean its the same motor?seems easy enough to un adapt them with a cord switch

yea ..of course i can use the adapter. but Im trying to avoid the need of transformer/adapters. Im also afraid (pretty sure) that at some point im going to insert the tool into a 240V source by accident.
Also, do you think it should work as usual when using and adapter?

No. Each product is engineered for the appropriate voltage. You cannot simply change out the cord and make them run at another voltage.

I wouldn't have bothered to mention this, but it is the second time in just a couple of days where I have heard someone suggest this.

You cannot run a 120-volt Festool product at 240 volts, or vice versa. The controllers are different, and the armatures are different.
