well here are pictures in progress of a 24' long wall unit in a town home that I am working on.
1st pictures are all the pieces cut up for the wine rack  then I lined up the first 3/4" x13/16" piece and then used a 4" spacer to set the rest in place.

then for the units I used domino's to attach all the pieces together and as you can see from the picture i use a 24" clamp bar to use to butt the domino up against.  then assembled each section up in the room itself and put up against the wall.

they wanted a place for his guitars at the end so I made a walnut guitar holder and roughed up the wood a bit..

this is all made out of walnut 4x8 play ($85 bucks a sheet) and walnut boards $5.00 bucks a board foot #2 walnut, cuz most is ripped down to 1x stock.  the stain color which only the bar area is stained so far is a rust o leium stain called aged gray... yep that is what they wanted which is nice cuz it is simple to wipe on and off....

the bar top is granite...

the center bar area will have glass doors

tomorrow I will put on all the face frame boards and will update.

the large square open areas will be for his artwork that he has... like greatful dead poster, jimi hendrix poster. etc.. I kid you not... and this guy is a brain surgeon and professor !!!! lol

Thats a monster, kreg! Must have taken you all morning to mill all that and install.  [big grin]

Kreg,

I like that wide ribbon/wave on those drawer fronts.

If you slide the fence all the way up on the Domino , you can get some extra finger and hand space on the handle when using it in that position  plunging onto the middle of  a panel.

Thx Kreg ,I'm gonna pick up the undulating head for my 850 give it a rustic look. I've been thinking ( ouch my head hurts) on a matching night stands and dresser

thanks everybody...

sancho you will get lots of use out of that blade.

yes I am going to make a matching night stand some day when i get spare time !!!

Kreg, the unit looks great!  quite an undertaking!  that's a great price on the walnut ply.  is that sourced through a local lumber yard?

All done except for 2 drawers. But since its so long I took a 59 sec video to really show how large and awesome this is

Kreg,

Very, very nice!!  I love Walnut and this piece is superb.  Great job!!  Miss the bead-board, though...LOL...unless it is on the inside of the cabinets.
