Has anyone had a problem problem with the 27mm hose detaching from its fitting at the tool end. Mine had done it twice in the last two days. The first time I took the end apart, rethreaded the hose and put it back together again. It has done it again and seems reluctant to go back together this time. Any ideas please?

Just a thought. Are the 2 locking pins secure in their holes?

I had the problem of the hose end that kept coming loose aswell. It was caused by the plastic part that threads onto the hose, and that should be able to spin freely in the end that connects to the tool so it won't work itself loose from the hose.
In my case there were scratches on that piece of plastic, the piece Mathew is holding between his fingers in the picture below, after sanding out the scratches and putting lubricant on it (I used a spraycan of dry silicone lube) the problem was resolved

Thanks for the replies. I'm all sorted now. I had figured out the method first time around but was trying to screw it back together again second time round as a right hand thread! I must have been having a blonde moment. Hopefully it is tight enough now and will stay together this time.
